The Feeling

Aku gak suka rasa ini.
Rasa yang menggelitik. Rasa yang menekan. Rasa yang memaksa. Rasa yang berteriak.
Rasa yang seharusnya tidak ada tapi selalu ada.
Kenapa kamu tiba-tiba datang? Aku tidak menyuruhmu datang. Aku bahkan tidak pernah berharap kamu datang untukku. Aku bahkan tidak mau.
Kenapa kamu tidak pernah pergi? Aku ingin kamu menjauh. Aku ingin kamu menghilang dariku.
Kenapa kamu juga tidak mau? Aku sudah kehabisan akal. Aku tidak tahu...
Kenapa kamu? Aku ingin dia.
Aku(,) Rasa Itu(,) Kamu(.)

Aku Memiliki Mimpi: Apa, Siapa, Bagaimana?

Impian, kita yang tentukan, bukan kata orang.
Impian, kita yang raih, orang lain bisa tak peduli.
Impian, tentang kita dan Pencipta

You are the one whose smile I saw for the first time
You are the one who teach me the true beauty
You are the one who I’m learning to be strong from
And you are the one who always have faith in me

You are the sunshine when my feeling gets blue
You are the rainbow after the rain
You show me your love is true
Oh Mother, you are the sweetest angel God’s ever sent

Years passed off rapidly
Change everything we see
But the light of your heart shines on
The strength of your soul vanish not

Ages can’t take away your charm
You are still as tough as a diamond
You keep standing beautifully
You stay like you always be

I can’t ask for more, you are the best
I love you till the end.

Happy 53rd birthday, Mom!

Ksatria Mimpi

Dalam sejumput asa
Terhias gundah dengan impian
Akan gemilangnya hari depan
Yang masih buram dipisah bentangan masa

Pendar cahaya cinta
Membangkitkan gelora
Semangat meraih cita
Tinggi tergantung di angkasa

Akankah mimpi terhalang misteri
Ketidak pastian menghantui
Menakuti
Menutup harapan akan karya ilahi

Aku ingin menjadi ksatria mimpi
Pahlawan cita
tidak gentar merangkai rencana dalam hari
untuk menggapai angan bersama asa dan cinta

Jiwa Sahabat

untuk mutiara-mutiara jiwaku

Ketika suatu malam
Setapak juntaian langkah
Diselimuti gelisah,
Engkau datang menepis suram

Engkau datang bersama cahaya
Menangkap aku kala gundah

Lalu kita melanjutkan perjalanan
Mengisi detik hari
Melanjutkan cerita
Cerita tentang indahnya kehidupan

Kita hidup dalam himpitan tapi satu nafas
Satu kata, satu gelora
Bertahan karena tawa

Ah, aku tak tahu bagaimana kalau engkau tak datang…
Malam itu tak akan berganti siang.

Beautiful poem for us, the eco-lovers =)

The Canticle of Brother Sun
St. Francis of Asisi (1226)

Most high, omnipotent, good Lord,
Praise, glory and honor and benediction all are thine.
To thee alone do they belong, most High, and there is no man fit to mention thee.

Praise be to thee, my Lord, with all thy creatures,
Especially to my worshipful brother sun,
The which lights up the day, and through him dost thou brightness give;
And beautiful is he and radiant with splendor great;
Of thee, most High, signification gives.

Praised be my Lord, for sister moon and for the stars,
In heaven thou hast formed them clear and precious and fair.
Praised be my Lord for brother wind
And for the air and clouds and fair and every kind of weather,
By the which thou givest to thy creatures nourishment.

Praised be my Lord for sister water,
The which is greatly helpful and humble and precious and pure.

Praised be my Lord for brother fire,
By the which thou lightest up the dark.
And fair is he and gay and mighty and strong.

Praised be my Lord for our sister, mother earth,
The which sustains and keeps us
And brings forth diverse fruits with grass and flowers bright.

Praised be my Lord for those who for thy love forgive
And weakness bear and tribulation.
Blessed those who shall in peace endure,
For by thee, most High, shall they be crowned.

Praised be my Lord for our sister, the bodily death,
From the which no living man can flee.
Woe to them who die in mortal sin;
Blessed those who shall find themselves in thy most holy will,
For the second death shall do them no ill.

Praise ye and bless ye my Lord, and give him thanks,
And be subject unto him with great humility.

Sonnet 43 - How Do I Love Thee?

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints,—I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life!—and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
 Elizabeth Barrett Browning
